Aaron McDonald is the author and creator of Curse of the Reawakening, an epic dark fantasy saga centered on intelligent animal-hybrid civilizations struggling for survival in the aftermath of humanity's apocalyptic fall.

Born and raised in the heart of New York City as the youngest of six children, Aaron learned early on to observe the intricate dynamics of people and the world around him. His natural curiosity for how complex systems operate led him to pursue formal studies in technology, earning an A.A.S. in Computer Information Systems from Hudson Valley Community College and a B.A.S. in Information Sciences from the University at Albany.

Before dedicating himself fully to fiction, Aaron spent four decades in public-facing and analytical roles—including fifteen years in customer service and twenty-five years of distinguished public service with the New York State government. This unique background provided him with a deep understanding of human behavior, structured problem-solving, and the discipline required to build expansive fictional universes from the ground up.

Following his retirement in 2024, Aaron turned his full creative focus toward writing. Today, he channels a lifetime of diverse experience, technical precision, and boundless imagination into crafting high-stakes sci-fi fantasy thrillers.
